Educational Background
Military Service
Rev. Lawson served in the United States Army as an Armor and Supply Specialist. His duty stations included Wiesbaden, Germany, and Fort Carson, Colorado. After four years of honorable service, he was discharged, having gained valuable life lessons that shaped his commitment to leadership and discipline. A Heart for Service
Growing up in the small town of Vincent, Alabama, Rev. Lawson learned the value of hard work, community, and generosity. His childhood memories of fishing, caring for livestock, and witnessing families come together to support one another instilled in him a lifelong dedication to serving others. Today, Rev. Lawson brings these values to Primm Chapel AME Church, where he leads with humility, vision, and faith. His mission is to glorify God, uplift His people, and help others discover their divine purpose. We are excited to partner with you on your spiritual journey. May God’s grace and peace abound in your life. Welcome to Primm Chapel AME Church!
Along with our dedicated ministerial team—Rev. Helen Davis and Rev. Gloria Cash-Sam—we strive to develop, teach, and preach the principles of the Bible and the Word of God with diligence and passion.
